The Watch GT 3 Pro is a clear statement from Huawei as to what it manages to create in the area of smart watches. After many unique and increasingly interesting models, this is the watch that the brand wants to be the market standard, especially in the field of design and functionality.
If at first glance it is a traditional watch, it is with its use and attention to detail that everything is revealed. This (almost) work of art is already on our market and, therefore, Pplware will unveil what makes it stand out and unique.
A watch or a smartwatch? In fact, both
One of Huawei’s best bets is in its area of smart watches. It has grown in a unique way and today is one of the main players, thanks in large part to the different models it has launched, always growing towards what the Watch GT 3 Pro represents.
This new proposal from Huawei plays an important role and is a big bet for the brand, as it launches new materials and new design lines. The 46 mm model has a titanium finish, while in the model dedicated to the female audience there is a unique ceramic proposal, which is not common in other brands.
If, in fact, we see in the 46 mm model a line known in Huawei smartwatches, the truth is that it completely innovates and changes its design. With a solid and well-structured construction, it has details and cuts that stand out and elevate the central crown of this watch. This detail has been demonstrated with the use we have made, in this case the dial stands out even more.
It is clearly a high quality device, almost luxurious, but it becomes affordable and easy to use on a daily basis. Solid, beautiful and well built, the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro stands out for its sobriety and quality that exudes. Despite its size, this watch is not heavy and did not cause any discomfort during daily use.
Interestingly, we were repeatedly asked questions about this device, especially about its design and features. This detail ensures that the smartwatch will be another Huawei success story.
The model to which Pplware had access was the 46 mm, with leather strap, but the brand has several proposals in the same model, such as a version with titanium bracelet and another with black fluoroelastomer bracelet.

A unique design and noble materials always present
This smartwatch stands out for its unique design, where all the elements are grouped naturally. The sapphire screen is durable, with scratch protection both for normal everyday use and for more aggressive situations.
On the right we have the only two buttons present, each of which has a different shape and function, with the rotating titanium crown at the top and allows you to fully control the clock.
From the use we made during the tests, it was almost natural to use the crown to navigate the interface of the Watch GT3 Pro. The second button was reconfigured for more obvious functionality, because the sporty look was not the most important thing for the user.
Below is a button / sensor, which allows access to sports functions, configurable and customizable, but which assumes more functions. It is actually an ECG sensor that will soon be used to do an electrocardiogram.
The least visible part is even the bottom area, where Huawei has placed all the sensors in the Watch GT 3 Pro. In addition, we have the loading area, which is stored in this area, which is made of nanocrystalline ceramic, which guarantees permanent comfort.
During testing, this area was never uncomfortable or overheated. The materials present guarantee this almost imperceptible presence.
Autonomy for several days
One point where the Watch GT3 Pro stands out, following what Huawei has in the other models, is the battery. We have managed to last 14 days in normal use, as promised by the manufacturer.
With wireless charging, it’s easy and quick to charge and relatively fast. In our tests, once again the values fulfilled what was promised: 25% of the battery in just 10 minutes, or 100% in less than an hour and a half.
In models dedicated to the female audience, these values decrease slightly. We have 7 days of battery life in normal use and 4 days in heavy use and a slightly longer charging time.
HarmonyOS, App Gallery and apps are present
Huawei’s choice to support the Watch GT 3 Pro could only be one. Let’s talk about HarmonyOS, which is still, from our point of view, a good choice. This release continues to provide users with the right items without the need for essential extras.
Still, Huawei continues to invest in its system and wants to give you more. Proof of this is the ability to use applications that complement and further increase the supply we can use in this watch.
As with previous models, the GT 3 Pro bases all communication with the smartphone on the Huawei Health app. This has grown and is the showcase for the data collected and interpreted, as well as the management of the dials of the clock and even the installed applications.
Huawei’s experience in this field, the result of its many years of creating smart watches and smart bands, is very present. The maturity of the application allows a quick and easy reading of the data, as well as the management of the connected equipment.
In the tests performed, a Huawei smartphone was not used and yet the application behaved impeccably. It was easy to find and install in the Android Play Store, just like the Apple App Store, and connecting the Huawei GT3 Pro to your smartphone was easy, fast, and hassle-free. We just had to read the QR code from the box of this watch and they took us to the app.
At no point in the setup or in the day-to-day use, there was no problem and the integration is seamless on both Android and iOS. This looks like a native app that gives the user great freedom that they don’t have to worry about.
Another interesting feature of the Watch GT 3 Pro is its ability to receive calls directly to the watch. These come via Bluetooth and guarantee good conversation quality, as with the previous version.
In addition to all these features, sensors and a unique design, the new Huawei smartwatch also has GPS and NFC. This is a legacy of previous models, which are still present and useful in everyday life.
Focus on the health and well-being of users
Although it is a classic watch with all the features of a smartwatch, Huawei wanted to make the Watch GT 3 Pro a focal point for gathering health information from users.
With a series of useful and essential information, we have in the Watch GT 3 Pro the measurement of the heart rate, SpO2, sleep and stress monitoring. These items are used to monitor the user and can be permanently active and controlled.
Each of these user health data streams is monitored in isolation and with special attention.
When evaluating the data collected, whether associated with sleep or measuring heart rate and SpO2, the values come close to the real ones, some of which have even been tested with dedicated medical equipment.
A sporty look in an elite smartwatch
One thing the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro could not miss is its sporty look, despite its premium look.
Huawei wanted to cover almost every area of physical activity, so it ensures that more than 100 activities can be tracked with the Watch GT 3 Pro. These are varied and focus on professional sports or a simple run in the late afternoon or a trip to the gym and the experience we can gain from using it proves it.
Something that the brand wanted to highlight and make a differentiating element were two sports. We are talking about golf, where professional data such as speed and shooting time, backswing time and downswing time are recorded. There are even useful demos and tips to take your game to the next level.
Another unique element is diving, where the Watch GT 3 Pro has an IP68 rating of up to 5 ATM for water resistance and supports 200 amazing water pressure cycles. This ensures that it can be used for freediving up to 30 meters deep.
But is the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro really a good choice?
Huawei’s proposal stands out on two fronts, making it an almost obvious choice for those looking for a premium product. In addition, looking at the general market, this is also a device that sets standards in terms of key areas.
We’re talking about battery life, build quality, and even health information that can be collected, processed, and presented to the user. It is a proposal with a unique design that stands out naturally in the long list of proposals that the market has.
The prices of the Huawei Watch GT3 Pro 46 mm are in line with what it offers and are between 400 euros (black fluoroelastomer model or gray skin) or 520 euros (titanium model). The 43 mm model, on the other hand, costs 500 euros (white leather) or 620 euros (ceramic model), the result of the use of ceramics, a unique building material.
Huawei is once again proving that it is heart and soul in its smartwatch area. The proposals continue to improve and gain functionality, with a unique design and features that put it at the top of consumer preference lists.
